"We approached Louise Carver to perform at News Cafe Moreleta in aid of SPCA Waltloo. Louise Carver has become a regular face at News Cafe Moreleta as we were privileged enough to have her perform at the store on numerous occasions. The 4th of December 2009 truly was a special day as hundreds of guests arrived with their entry fees in the form of doggy blankets and dry dog food. We also sold blankets and cocktails with all proceeds donated to SPCA Waltloo. Louise was first in line with her generous contribution of blankets and dog food.

Representatives from SPCA Waltloo was extremely grateful for the 120 blankets and over R7000 worth of dog food and cash contributions."
